“It will be fine” is a phrase often used in times of uncertainty. It offers reassurance while also expressing the desire to keep what is uncomfortable at a distance. The exhibition explores this tension through a series of collages created over several years.
Images, forms, and fragments are removed from their original contexts and recombined into new constellations. Collage becomes more than an artistic technique: it serves as a model for how identities, relationships, beliefs, and social structures are continually shaped and transformed. Rather than seeking simple solutions, the works allow contradictions to coexist and explore the possibilities of acting within uncertainty.
In a time when ecological, political, and social crises challenge established certainties, the collage becomes a way of engaging with complexity and change. Familiar structures are dismantled and reconfigured, opening up unexpected connections and new perspectives. It Will Be Fine is therefore less a promise than an attitude: an invitation to embrace the unfinished, accept uncertainty, and recognise the possibilities for change within what is still in the process of becoming. The exhibition took place at AG18 Spotlight.
